House Sparrows

I just love the dozens of little birds that come into my yard and empty my bird feeders in one fell swoop.  LOL  The best part is they startle easily so one tiny tap on the sliding door can cause them all to jump into flight.  A perfect test for my sports feature on my camera!  I have a few others that I like just as much as this photo but after looking at them close up they turned out to be a whole lot more grainy.  Look at this one full size if you like birds, they're so much fun to see how many different angles they take when leaping into flight.

Strangely enough when I was little I thought these birds were chickadees...they are not, they are House Sparrows.  I also have House Finches from time to time as well...hopefully a photo of those will come, but we don't get as many of those at one time.
